Residents of Freedom House Recovery House must be in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. Upon admission to our recovery houses, residents must be proven to be drug and alcohol free.
Residents are then introduced into a moderately structured living environment which requires the following:
Gaining sufficient employment to pay $150 rent which is collected weekly.
Completing a "90 in 90" daily attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
Adhering without exception to all house rules, including but not limited to nightly house curfew, noise restrictions, and assigned household chores.
Providing random urine samples when requested. Use of illegal substances or any alcohol is strictly prohibited and is automatic grounds for termination of stay.
The Recovery Houses operate on a system of phases in which a resident progresses throught levels of increasing responsibility and privilege. Time in the house is not the sole criteria for advancement; specific treatment goals must also be met.
